The DCF887 Impact Driver by DeWalt features an improved brushless motor that provides a 28% increase in torque without sacrificing any efficiency, with a special SBS module allowing for more power to be drawn from the motor. A 3 mode speed selector allows for switching between speed and torque settings depending on the application while an incorporated impact mechanism provides a longer drive and increased speed. The compact and lightweight design of this Impact Driver makes it ideal when working in confined spaces and helps reduce user fatigue even over prolonged periods of use. The smart new chuck with "drop and load" bit holder makes changing bits quick and easy, with a 3 LED Light Ring providing illumination to the working area in even the dullest of job sites.
