The strimmer has a cutting swathe of 260mm, and is designed to take advantage of Makita four-leaf nylon cord, which gives you 30 percent longer cord life. You can even adjust the shaft in length over a 190mm range to get the cutting head at just the right height. There is also an edger built into the head for convenience.
